Marjorie Christian

Marjorie Christian aged 86 passed away at her home on 2/18/2024, after a brave journey with relentless cancer. She embraced each day with hope and determination and showed remarkable strength and courage throughout. She loved and was loved by her family who will miss her until the end of time.

Marjorie was born on 6/24/1937, the first of five children, to Jewel and Jacy Jenkins. She graduated Valedictorian from Gallatin High School, and later as a Registered Nurse from St. Paul School of Nursing. Afterwards, she married George Christian in Dallas, Texas, and they had two children.

She devoted all of her adult life to caring for others and had a special bond with her patients. She always had the ability to make anyone smile, and constantly tried to be a positive person. This helped the healing process, no matter how difficult, and many still remember her kindness.

Marjorie is survived by her husband of 66 years, George, her children Sheryl and Michael; her granddaughter Caryn and her husband Randy; grandson Cory; as well as her great grandchildren Cindy, Kelly, and Makana. Also her sisters Betty and Jeanie, brother Johnny and his wife Carolyn, and her sister-in-law Ann, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
