Lottie Lee Baker Flagg passed away peacefully into heaven on May 22, 2023. She will be remembered for her infectious love of life, her Lord and her family. She was born on November 1, 1930 in San Marcos, TX. After attending Southwest Texas State, she met and married Merle Flagg (deceased 2018) in 1953 at Gary AFB in San Marcos. They moved to Dallas in 1957 where they lived and raised three sons.
As a long-time member of First Baptist Church Dallas, Lottie was active in the
Sanctuary Choir and developed many dear friendships there. She and Merle
enjoyed traveling throughout the USA in their motorhome.
Lottie was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by sons: Mark Flagg
(Laura), Neal Flagg (Cindy) and Brett Flagg (Lisa) all of Dallas. She was Nannie to
grandchildren: Preston Flagg (Amanda), Brittany Harper, Aubrey Hopkins (Carter),
Baker Flagg, Austin Flagg (Rebecca), Parker Flagg (Lauren), Anna Flagg, Haley
Flagg, Brandon Harper (Asheton), and great grandchildren: Chapel, Ledger and Rev
Hopkins, Annabeth and Lottie Jane Flagg, Merle D Flagg and Layla Killingsworth.
A memorial reception celebrating Lottie's life will be held at a future date.
