August 10, 1947 – February 19, 2026

Lorenzo "Larry" Rodarte passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on August 10, 1947, to Pablo & Julia Rodarte,

Larry lived a life defined by strength, devotion & hard work.

A proud Vietnam veteran, Larry served his country with honor before continuing his service through a long career with the United States Postal Service. He was a fisherman and carpenter at heart, a true craftsman who found joy in working with his hands and creating lasting works from wood.

Fishing was more than a pastime for Larry. It was one of his greatest passions. Known for his patience, & skill, he could spend hours by the water & return with both a great catch & an even better story. More importantly, Larry loved teaching others how to fish. He took pride in passing down his knowledge, guiding friends, children, and grandchildren alike, & creating memories that will live on for generations. For many, their love of fishing began with Larry at their side.

Larry loved sports, enjoyed dancing, and embodied the spirit of a true man's man.

Those who knew him will remember him as strong, resourceful, and funny, always ready with a helping hand or a laugh.

Larry shared 29 years with the love of his life, Priscilla Rodarte; the couple married in 2014 and built a life grounded in love and commitment.
