Lorene Cash Obituary

Lorene Crossland Cash has made the long-desired journey "home." She entered this world on February 18, 1927 and left it on November 26, 2022 at the age of 95.  She was a graduate of Adamson High School at the age of 16 after being double promoted twice. She is survived by her daughter, Andrene Cash Toler and husband John, her granddaughters, Jillian Dabovich , husband Craig and great grandsons, Case and Cannon and Jessica Huerta, husband David and great grandchildren Ender and Coraline and many nieces and nephews.  She was devoted to her family only second to her devotion to her Lord. She served with her husband, Andy, as pastors in three churches in the Dallas area until his illness and death.

She lived a life of dedication beginning with her amazing talent on the piano as the pianist at Gospel Lighthouse Church at the age of twelve. Her great passion was serving the Lord through her gifted musical ability.  She played the piano for 40 years at the weekly United Christian Men's breakfast club. She also loved playing for sing a-longs at her assisted living facility. Her dedicated lifestyle was evident in her work too.  She was a bookkeeper at Lone Star Container where she worked for 45 years and retired at the age of 85.

She will be remembered for her deep abiding love for her Lord and family and the sparkle in her eyes and flashing smile. She is the last remaining Cash or Crossland of her generation. A legacy indeed. Her desire would be in lieu of flowers donations be made to:
