Lois I. Bradley Lord

August 5, 1940 - April 12, 2024

Lois Lord, a woman known for her infectious smile and adorable sense of humor, which included a delightful giggle, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12th, at her home at the age of 83.

Born to Paul and Ruby Bradley on August 5th, 1940, in Houston, TX., Lois lived a life filled with laughter and hard work.  She took great pride in her appearance and her home, which was always spotless thanks to her cleaning skills – a trait that earned her the playful nickname of "Clean Freak."   Her love shone through in everything she did, even the chores.

Lois possessed a deep love for her family.  She was brutally honest, but her honesty stemmed from a place of genuine care.  Thanksgiving gatherings at her home were legendary, filled with her perfectly polished silverware, delicious food, and most importantly, the joy of family togetherness.

Lois is survived by her loving husband Danny Lau, whom she met in 2009 and married on December 6, 2022.  They shared their lives with their three beloved cats, Leo, Gracie, and Spectator.

Her son, Michael Andrews; granddaughters Catherine (Carlos) Puente and Cynthia (Rayne) Caudillo; daughter-in-law, Pam Andrews; 6 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; 2 great-great-granddaughters; 1 great-great-grandson..

She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell J. Andrews; brother, Charles Bradley.,

Lois leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.  We were all blessed to know her, and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10:30 am. A graveside service and interment will be at noon at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.
