Lloyd Earl Hall, Jr.
November 2, 1943 - May 9, 2023
Lloyd Hall, Jr. of Dallas, Texas passed away on May 9, 2023 in Gun Barrel City, Texas at the age of 79. He was welcomed into heaven by his father, Lloyd Hall, Sr. and his mother, Ethelyn Hall.
Lloyd was born on November 2, 1943 in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in Oak Cliff and graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas in 1962. His strong work ethic began early in life when he threw a newspaper route at age 15. He also worked in his father's garage learning to repair cars, which led to a long career as a well respected auto mechanic, first with the City of Dallas, and then owning his own business in Oak Cliff, Lloyd Hall's Wheel and Brake Alignment, for over 40 years.
Lloyd was a faithful member of Western Park Baptist Church where he was a Royal Ambassador director. He continued his membership with Faith Baptist Church. Lloyd loved the Lord, and it was shown through his acts of kindness, generosity, and helpfulness.
His hobbies included fishing, restoring classic cars, racing motorcycles, visiting Lake City, Colorado, watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, and collecting Roy Rogers memorabilia. His greatest joy was spending time at the lake with his friends and family.
Lloyd met the love of his life, Diana, in 1969. It was love at first sight. They spent their life together raising their family, being with treasured friends George and Pat, and going on many adventures.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diana Hall; sister Alice Bostick; daughter Debbie Frey and her husband Greg; daughter Lynda Whitaker; son Brian Hall and his wife Toni; daughter Amy Francen and her husband Steve; daughter Kellie Brimer and her husband Paul; grandchildren: Stephen, Matthew, Ashley, Dewayne, Avery, Madison, Katie, Carrie, and Sadie; great-grandchildren: Colby, Kayson, Mason, and Aurora; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
