Leon Sanchez

Leon Sanchez, 53,  of Dallas Texas, beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, papa and friend passed away on October 31, 2023.

Leon was born September 17, 1970 in Dallas, Texas to Richard and Romana Sanchez. He is survived by his mother Romana, wife Jessica, sister Emalie, Brother Ray, daughters Ashley and Jazmin, son Eric, grandkids Jaslene, Jailyn, Andres, Aria and Tatum, nieces Jocelyn, Ariel, Camila, nephews Richard and Pedro and great-niece Myla.

Leon enjoyed watching TV and movies.  Some of his favorites were Jaws, The Simpsons, Charlie Brown, The Land of the Lost, The Planet of the Apes, Star Wars and any Scary Movie he could find. He also enjoyed listening to music such as The Bee Gees, Queen, Chicago, Bob Marley, Journey, Eagles and his sister remembers him listening to Boy George. He was a big Cowboys and Maverick fan. He enjoyed cooking and was really good at it, his breakfast was his kids favorite. He enjoyed playing with his best pup McKenzie, his grandkids and taking naps. He loved eating popcorn and sunflower seeds of which he taught his children and grandchildren to eat just as soon as they knew how to pop the seeds between their teeth.

Leon was preceded in death by his father Richard and older brother Richard Paul.

He will be missed Today, Tomorrow and Always. He will be FOREVER in our Hearts.

León nació el 17 de septiembre de 1970 en Dallas, Texas, hijo de Richard y Romana Sánchez. Le sobreviven su madre Romana, su esposa Jessica, su hermana Emalie, su hermano Ray, sus hijas Ashley y Jazmin, su hijo Eric, sus nietos Jaslene, Jailyn, Andrés, Aria y Tatum, sus sobrinas Jocelyn, Ariel, Camila, sus sobrinos Richard y Pedro y sus nietos. sobrina Myla.

A León le gustaba ver televisión y películas. Algunas de sus favoritas eran Tiburón, Los Simpson, Charlie Brown, La tierra de los perdidos, El planeta de los simios, Star Wars y cualquier película de miedo que pudiera encontrar. También le gustaba escuchar música como The Bee Gees, Queen, Chicago, Bob Marley, Journey, Eagles y su hermana lo recuerda escuchando Boy George. Era un gran fanático de los Cowboys y Mavericks. Le gustaba cocinar y era muy bueno en eso, su desayuno era el favorito de sus hijos. Disfrutaba jugar con su mejor cachorro McKenzie, sus nietos y tomar siestas. Le encantaba comer palomitas de maíz y semillas de girasol, que enseñó a comer a sus hijos y nietos tan pronto como supieron reventar las semillas entre los dientes.

A Leon le precedieron en la muerte su padre Richard y su hermano mayor Richard Paul.

Se le extrañará hoy, mañana y siempre. Él estará PARA SIEMPRE en nuestros Corazones.
