Karina Zavala

March 28, 1992 - August 18, 2024

Karina Zavala was born in Dallas, Texas on March 28, 1992, daughter of María Armida Zavala and Gustavo Zavala.

Karina was a very kind and loving person.  Karina became the main caregiver for her sister Marina and her father Gustavo after her mother's passing.  Karina enjoyed spending time with her sister and dad, studying, listening to music, drawing, and watching Harry Potter movies.  Karina graduated from Adamson High School in 2011, an achievement that made her and her very family proud.  Karina also continued her education at Mountain View College all while taking care of her family.  Although Karina lived only 32 years, she left an impact that her sister and father will never forget.

Karina was preceded in death by her mother María Armida Zavala and is survived by her sister Marina Zavala and her father Gustavo Zavala.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 28, 2024 with a Rosary Service at 5:30 PM at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the funeral home. Graveside service and interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Karina Zavala nació en Dallas, Texas el 28 de marzo de 1992, hija de María Armida Zavala y Gustavo Zavala.

Karina era una persona muy amable y cariñosa.  Karina se convirtió en la cuidadora principal de su hermana Marina y de su padre Gustavo después del fallecimiento de su madre.  Karina disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su hermana y su papá, estudiar, escuchar música, dibujar y ver películas de Harry Potter.  Karina se graduó de la escuela secundaria Adamson en 2011, un logro que la enorgulleció a ella y a su familia.  Karina también continuó su educación en la Universidad de Mountain View mientras cuidaba de su familia.  Aunque Karina vivió sólo 32 años, dejó un impacto que su hermana y su padre nunca olvidarán.

Karina fue precedida en la muerte por su madre María Armida Zavala y le sobreviven su hermana Marina Zavala y su padre Gustavo Zavala.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 2:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. el miércoles 28 de agosto de 2024 con un servicio del Rosario a las 5:30 p. m. en Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. El funeral será a las 11:00 a. m. del jueves 29 de agosto de 2024 en la funeraria. Seguirá el servicio junto a la tumba y el entierro en Laurel Land Memorial Park.
