Con profundo dolor, la familia Villanueva comunica el fallecimiento de Juan Villanueva, Jr., quien partió de este mundo el 8 de agosto de 2025 en Dallas, Texas, a la edad de 42 años.

Juan nació el 25 de junio de 1983 en Dallas, TX, hijo de Juan Villanueva y Arminda Machado. Fue un hombre alegre, bromista, juguetón y cariñoso, conocido por su gran sonrisa que siempre iluminaba cualquier lugar. Amante de los Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers y Dallas Cowboys, Juan era un apasionado seguidor del deporte local.

Disfrutaba mucho de la compañía de su familia y amigos; su personalidad extrovertida lo hacía el alma de cualquier reunión. Amaba a los perros y dedicaba tiempo a entrenarlos con paciencia y cariño. Era un hombre muy detallista, con un corazón enorme, responsable y trabajador.

Le sobreviven su esposa Selene Mendoza Martínez, con quien compartió siete años de matrimonio; su adorada hija Keyra Mendoza; sus padres; sus hermanas y hermanos; dos sobrinas, un sobrino y numerosos familiares y amigos que lo amaron profundamente.

La visita de cuerpo presente se llevará a cabo el miércoles 13 de agosto de 2025, de 2:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m., en la capilla de Jeter & Son Funeral Home, ubicada en 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, TX. El servicio fúnebre se realizará el jueves 14 de agosto a las 10:00 a.m., en la misma capilla.

Juan deja un legado de amor, alegría y memorias inolvidables. Siempre vivirá en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron.

It is with deep sorrow that the Villanueva family announces the passing of Juan Villanueva, Jr., who left this world on August 8, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 42.

Juan was born on June 25, 1983, in Dallas, TX, to Juan Villanueva and Arminda Machado. He was a joyful, playful, and affectionate man, known for his bright smile that would light up any room. A passionate fan of the Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Cowboys, Juan was a devoted follower of local sports.

He greatly enjoyed the company of his family and friends; his outgoing personality made him the life of any gathering. He had a deep love for dogs and spent time training them with patience and care. Juan was a very thoughtful man with a huge heart, responsible, and hardworking.

He is survived by his wife Selene Mendoza Martínez, with whom he shared six years of marriage; his beloved daughter Keyra Mendoza; his parents; his brothers and sisters; two nieces, a nephew, and numerous family and friends who loved him deeply.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Jeter & Son Funeral Home chapel, located at 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, TX.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the same chapel.

Juan leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and unforgettable memories. He will always live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
