Juan Carlos Hernandez, 35, passed away on June 16, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 24, 1991, in Dallas, Texas, to Jesus Hernandez and Pureza Martinez.
Juan attended St. Mary's University School of Law and worked for the City of San Antonio. He was known for his dedication and willingness to help others.
Juan met his wife, Alba, nearly 15 years ago while they were in undergrad. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, travel, inside jokes, and quality time at home with their dogs. Juan found joy in simple things: his favorite Muji 0.38 mm pens, wearing silly socks, working on Excel projects, watching sci-fi movies, and finding any opportunity for a good joke.
He will be remembered for his humor, caring nature, and the way she showed up for the people he loved.
Juan was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Hernandez; his paternal grandparents, Imelda and Manuel Hernandez; his maternal grandmother, Juventina Hernandez; his nephew, Jesse Hernandez; and his first dog, Dobby.
He is survived by his wife, Alba Urcullu; his mother, Pureza Martinez; his sister, Janet Zapata; his nieces, Oliveeah, Yaretzi, Ella, and Aria; his dogs, Lola and Pepa; and many family members and friends who will remember him with love.
