Juan Rodriguez Aguirre
October 7, 1948 - January 14, 2024
Juan was born in Wisner, Michigan on October 7, 1948 and passed peacefully on January 14, 2024 surrounded by family, in Dallas, Texas.
He actively served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from May 1968 to April 1970 and was Honorably Discharged receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal. After serving in the Army, Juan moved to Dallas, Texas, where he married his wife Jovita and dedicated his life to providing for his family, eventually retiring from Oncor Electric after 40 years of employment.
Juan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather "Popo" and
great-grandfather. He was proceeded in death by his parents; Cornelio Aguirre and Antonia Rodriguez Aguirre; Brothers: Romulo Aguirre and Armando Aguirre.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Jovita; his children, John (wife- Marlen), Cindy (husband- Vincent), and Randy (wife- Juanita); his grandchildren, Anthony, Joshua (wife-Nicole), Vincent IV (wife-Emily), Nicholas, Nina, Nevaeh, Ayden "Franco", Olivia, Natalie, Gisselle, Aaron, and his great-granddaughter Elena.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes, we watched you slowly fade away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating your hard-working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
