Joydale Waybright Plemons

November 6, 1953 - December 10, 2023

Joydale Vernon Plemons joined her heavenly home December 10, 2023.  She was born November 6, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Robert and Joy Waybright and married her husband Michael on December 1, 1973.

Joydale's earliest ambitions were to be a wife and a mother and to live a life holy and acceptable to God.  She worked as a bookkeeper for her parent's Christian bookstore, Waybright's Family Bookstore, for many years.   Joydale's proudest moments were the births of her children and grandchildren and celebrating their accomplishments.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, needlepoint, traveling, and most of all singing and playing the piano.  For over thirty years, Joydale could be found at the church piano, faithfully playing for every Sunday morning and Sunday evening service.  Joydale loved Jesus and her family most of all.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joy Waybright.  Joydale is survived by her husband, Michael; five siblings; children April and husband Rob, Eric, Joshua and wife Rebekah, and Shawn and wife Lauren; thirteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at 1:00pm at Jeter and Son Funeral Home, located at 332 Cedar Street in Cedar Hill, Texas.
