Josue Rigoberto Umanzor

February 3, 1992 - December 29, 2023

Josue Rigoberto Umanzor was born February 03, 1992 in La Union, El Salvador. He was the son of Jose Umanzor and Yleana Turcios. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 2004 and passed away on December 29, 2023.

Josue met Desiree Moreno in Carrollton, Texas and they began dating in 2007. They were later married in 2013 in The Colony, Texas. Josue worked doing drywall for his father's family business. He loved being outdoors and doing things with his family. He enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on cold nights and taking road trips with his wife and children. He was a romantic at heart, and he appreciated all things sappy. He had a stern demeanor and carried himself in a mature way, but he was silly with those who were closest to him. Most people would describe Josue as silent and strong but funny and laidback as well.

Josue is survived by his wife Desiree Moreno, his two children, Jason and Zoe Umanzor, his parents Jose Umanazor and Yleana Turcios and his sisters Yorleni and Katherine Umanzor.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6th from 1-6pm at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, TX, with a Rosary Service at 4:30pm.

Liturgy of the Word will be held on Sunday, January 7th from 2-4pm at Jeter & Son Funeral Home Dallas, TX

Graveside service will be on Monday, January 8th at 10am at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, TX.
