Joshua Lawrence Headrick

October 18, 1988 – November 2, 2025

Joshua Lawrence Headrick, 37, of Dallas, Texas, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on November 2, 2025. Born on October 18, 1988, in Dallas to Tammy and Rickie Headrick, Joshua brought warmth, laughter, and love to all who knew him.

Joshua's kind heart, bright smile, and genuine spirit touched countless lives. He had a gift for making others feel valued and loved, and his joy for life was contagious. His faith, strength, and compassion will be remembered by family and friends forever.

He is survived by his loving parents, Tammy and Ron Taylor, and Tom Tovar; his sister, Jordan Tovar; and grandparents Lawrence Powers, Tom and Hilda Tovar, and Ruth Headrick. Joshua is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Tiffany and Corry Buttram, Cathy Tovar, Laura and Eddie Turner, Dean and Debbie Headrick, Reggie and Candy Headrick, Darlene Headrick, Diana Smith, and Rolland Headrick.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rickie Headrick; his brother, Jayden Tovar; his grandfather, William Headrick; and his grandmother, Linda Powers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Wallace officiating. Pallbearers will include Michael Gummelt, Jack Harding, Jordan Kerzee, Cameron Tharp, Will Reno, and Mathew Witschorkie. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association in Joshua's honor.

Joshua will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who were blessed to know him. His light lives on in the hearts of those he loved.
