Jose Angel Valdez

Jose Angel Valdez, age 58, passed away on February 26, 2026. He was born on April 13, 1967, and lived a life devoted to faith, compassion, and service to others.

He was a dedicated minister who faithfully served those in need of spiritual healing. Jose's ministry was a source of comfort, guidance, and hope to many individuals and families. He was known for his kind heart, listening ear, and unwavering belief in the power of prayer. His presence brought peace to those facing life's challenges, and his legacy of faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Graciela Valdez; his children, Jose Angel Valdez Jr, Monica Vanessa Valdez, and Jeanette Ashley Valdez; his daughter-in-law, Diana Valdez; his son-in-law, Chris Rodriguez; and his beloved grandchildren, Briana Valdez, Natalie Rodriguez, Jose Valdez the 3rd, Vanessa Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, Isabel Valdez, Robert Valdez, Anthony Rodriguez, and Gracie Rodriguez, along with many other cherished family members and friends who will deeply miss his warmth, wisdom, and steadfast love.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 4, at Jeter and Son Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, at Jeter and Son Funeral Home, with a committal service to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Jose's life was a testament to faith in action. Though he has entered eternal rest, his love, prayers, and spiritual guidance will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
