José Emilio Muñoz was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who passed away on Saturday November 4, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. José is survived by his wife, Olga and their children Rachael, Jose JR, Alicia and Vanessa. José was born to Pablo Muñoz and Bernadina Sánchez in Tamaulipas, Mexico on May 22, 1951. He moved to the United States where he started his 45-year career at PepsiCo and retired as a lead person. José and Olga married on April 22, 1972 at the age of 20 and Olga at the age of 16. The family expanded with the births of their children Rachael, Jose JR, Alicia, and Vanessa.
Through the years, José enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys Games, staying active by maintaining his country estate "the land", traveling with his wife, and spending time with his grandkids. Being a husband, father and grandfather came naturally to José. His 51-year marriage to his wife Olga demonstrated the true meaning of a God centered loving marriage. José was a great provider and gave his kids a wonderful life. His grandkids enjoyed spending quality time with him. José lost his battle to Multiple System Atrophy. His family wishes to extend a special thanks to the medical staff and all the family members who supported and encouraged him along the way.
José Emilio Muñoz fue un dedicado esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, tío y amigo que falleció el sábado 4 de noviembre de 2023 en Dallas, Texas. José es sobrevivido por su esposa, Olga y sus hijos Rachael, José JR, Alicia y Vanessa. José nació de Pablo Muñoz y Bernadina Sánchez en Tamaulipas, México el 22 de mayo de 1951. Él se mudó a los Estados Unidos donde comenzó su carrera de 45 años en PepsiCo y se jubiló como una persona principal. José y Olga se casaron el 22 de abril de 1972 a la edad de 20 años y Olga a la edad de 16 años. La familia se amplió con el nacimiento de sus hijos Rachael, José JR, Alicia y Vanessa.

José fue un gran proveedor y dio a sus hijos de una vida maravillosa. Sus nietos disfrutaban pasando tiempo con él. José perdió su vida contra una enfermedad llamada Atrofia Sistémica Múltiple. Visitation will be on November 14 (Monday) from 1-6pm at Jeter & Son Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas
The funeral service will be on November 15 (Tuesday) at 11:30am at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas
The graveside service will immediately follow the funeral service at Calvary Hill Catholic Cemetery
