Born: October 20,1948, To Parents: Gonzalo & Ventura Salazar
Passed: March 6, 2024, at his home in Dallas Tx, surrounded by his loving family by his side.
He married his spouse Sally Salazar March 22, 1969. He worked for Dr. Pepper for 35 Years . He was in the army from 1969 to 1971.
His hobbies were baseball, Pool and dominos watching football, and playing obstacle courses for the 4th of July
He loved to tell jokes and would joke around with everyone.
He was a great father, husband, brother, grandpa, and great grandpa and hard worker.
Preceded in death by his parents: Gonzalo & Ventura Salazar; sisters: Patsy Macias, Estella Salazar; and brothers: Ralph Salazar, and Richard Salazar.
Survived by his wife Sally Salazar and children Irene Perez, Mary Cervantes, Juanita Salazar, Michelle Salazar, Johnny Salazar, Rebecca Salazar, and Abel Salazar; along with 16 Grandkid's and 21 Great Grandkids.
Services :
Visitation will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home located at 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211, from 2-7pm, Monday, March 18, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held in the Jeter & Son Chapel at 11:30am, Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
Military Honors & Internment will immediately follow the service at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
