Johnny Gonzalez, "Daddy", age 87, went to live with the Lord in heaven on May 7, 2024. He passed away with his devoted and loving family at his bedside. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he created a vibrant life with an immense love of family, friends, and achievements in business.

Johnny was born on August 29th, 1936, in North Texas to Mary Rodriguez and Aurelio Gonzalez. He was the eldest of his five brothers and three sisters.

Powerfully self-driven, hardworking, and innovative, he developed his entrepreneurial empire with real estate and a successful door business, Dixie Door & Repair, Incorporated, spanning over three decades.

His presence illuminated each and every room he entered. He attracted numerous individuals with his contagious smile, incredibly good looks, and magnetic personality that left those in his presence longing for more time with him. He loved cooking, gardening, camping in his RV, and dancing.

After retiring, he spent his time deeping meaningful connections with family and friends. Johnny had an appreciation for being in nature and traveling. Most importantly, he cherished family time, constantly encouraging family dinners together with his children.

Johnny will always be remembered for his passion for life, loving nature, captivating presence, love for family, and stunning appearance. He will forever be etched in our hearts as a pillar of strength, success, love, and perseverance.

He met his wife in Mexico while traveling. Together, they enjoyed expanding familial relationships, relaxing, and eating.

Johnny is survived by his seven children Belinda, Johnny Jr. and wife Christine, Carolina and husband Michael, Vickie and husband Rolando, Michelle and husband Steven, Genie and husband Scott, Vincent, nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and wife Adriana.

As Daddy embarks on his final journey, may his spirit be at peace knowing he was profoundly loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. The Chapel Service will be at the funeral home at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Johnny González, "Papá", de 87 años, se fue a vivir con el Señor al cielo el 7 de mayo de 2024. Falleció con su devota y amorosa familia junto a su cama. Amado esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo, creó una vida vibrante con un inmenso amor por la familia, los amigos y los logros en los negocios.

Johnny nació el 29 de agosto de 1936 en el norte de Texas, hijo de Mary Rodríguez y Aurelio González. Era el mayor de sus cinco hermanos y tres hermanas.

Poderosamente autónomo, trabajador e innovador, desarrolló su imperio empresarial con bienes raíces y un exitoso negocio de puertas, Dixie Door & Repair, Incorporated, que abarca más de tres décadas.

Su presencia iluminó todas y cada una de las habitaciones en las que entró. Atrajo a numerosas personas con su sonrisa contagiosa, su apariencia increíblemente buena y su personalidad magnética que dejó a quienes estaban en su presencia deseando pasar más tiempo con él. Le encantaba cocinar, hacer jardinería, acampar en su casa rodante y bailar.

Después de jubilarse, dedicó su tiempo a profundizar conexiones significativas con familiares y amigos. Johnny apreciaba estar en la naturaleza y viajar. Lo más importante es que apreciaba el tiempo en familia y fomentaba constantemente las cenas familiares con sus hijos.

Johnny siempre será recordado por su pasión por la vida, su amor por la naturaleza, su presencia cautivadora, su amor por la familia y su apariencia deslumbrante. Él siempre quedará grabado en nuestros corazones como un pilar de fortaleza, éxito, amor y perseverancia.

Conoció a su esposa en México mientras viajaba. Juntos disfrutaron ampliar las relaciones familiares, relajarse y comer.

A Johnny le sobreviven sus siete hijos Belinda, Johnny Jr. y su esposa Christine, Carolina y su esposo Michael, Vickie y su esposo Rolando, Michelle y su esposo Steven, Genie y su esposo Scott, Vincent, diecinueve nietos, diecinueve bisnietos y su esposa Adriana.

Mientras papá se embarca en su viaje final, que su espíritu esté en paz sabiendo que fue profundamente amado y que todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo lo extrañarán muchísimo.

La familia aprecia profundamente su apoyo, pensamientos y oraciones.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 2:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m., el miércoles 15 de mayo de 2024, en Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. El servicio de capilla se llevará a cabo en la funeraria a las 10:00 a. m. el jueves 16 de mayo de 2024. Seguirá el servicio junto a la tumba y el entierro en Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
