John Edward Reyes

March 10, 1981 – April 2, 2025

John Edward Reyes was born in Mesquite, Texas, on March 10, 1981, to Carlos Rosas and Gloria Hernandez Reyes. He passed away at 44 on April 2, 2025, in Irving, Texas.

John was known for his strong work ethic, love for cooking, and deep affection for animals. He found peace and joy living at the ranch, surrounded by nature and the quiet he cherished. With a kind heart and generous spirit, he touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his beloved cousins Phillip, Daniel, and Jeremy. He is survived by his parents, Gloria H. Reyes and Carlos Rosas; his sisters, Laura and Priscilla; his brother, Charlie; his daughters, Natalie and Jayla; his niece, Aliza; and a host of extended family and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, TX 75211. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial immediately after at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, Texas.

John will be remembered for the love he gave, the kindness he showed, and the life he lived fully and sincerely.
