Joe was an avid Cowboys Football fan and was a music lover of all types of genre. He adored his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Mercy Cervantes; children: Joe C. Martinez III and wife Monica Martinez, Sonny Martinez and wife Erika Rivas, and Augustine Martinez; grandchildren: Andrew Martinez, Roman Martinez, Celestina Martinez, Joshua Martinez, and Jewel Sanchez, Augustine D. Martinez, and Eleanor Martinez; as well as many other cherished family members and friends.

A gathering will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2022.
