Joe Alvarado

August 27, 1943 - June 20, 2023

Age 79, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on June 20, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born to Maria Gutierrez and Jesse Hernandez on August 27, 1943 in Reed City, Michigan.

Joe was an amazing (Grumpy) man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He worked in the paint and body industry for many years, enjoyed gardening, watching his flowers grow and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children: Joe, Debbie, Jocelyn, and Mark, Sisters:  Elisa, Connie, Maryanne, Brothers Juanio, Robert, Gil, Eugene, Johnny and Paul. Grandchildren: Domingo, Tino, Gabriella, Natalie, Anna, Stefan, Joseph, Vinson, Crystal, Naomi, Mark A, Isabel, Sammy, and Nic . Great Grandchildren: Elijah, Brianna, Michelle, Audra, Layla, Kayla, Ariel, Angel Bryson, Brenleigh, and Brooke.  as well as many other cherished family members and friends.

Predeceased by Grandsons: Gabriel and Nick, Parents: Maria, Jesse, Stepfather Raymond.  Brothers: Raymond and Isidro, Sisters: Teresa and Yolanda.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Jeter and Son Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the funeral home. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
