Jessica Daniela Martinez

June 15, 1987 - October 21, 2024

Age 37, of Dallas Texas was born on June 15, 1987 to Elvira Herrera and Daniel Martinez. Jessica silently battled cancer and peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones as she entered her eternal rest on October 21, 2024.

Jessica was a spirited individual with a unique personality. Her sense of humor brought joy to many, as she was known for being a delightful jokester. Her son, Anthony, was the realization of her dreams and held a special place in her heart. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Jessica had a sweet tooth and cherished treats like chocolate milk and brownies. She found joy in coloring and completing word searches. Jessica also enjoyed collecting plush toys, particularly her beloved Tigger and giraffes. Full of life, Jessica displayed immense bravery and fought valiantly until her last breath.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Leon Martinez Garcia, Catalina Cobos Torres, Joe Navarro Herrera, and Petra Velez Herrera. Her uncles include David Martinez, Jaime Concepcion Martinez, Heriberto Martinez, and Vicente Martinez Cobos. Aunts: Josephine Herrera Salazar and Christine Velez Herrera Ramirez; and sister Alicia Martinez Padilla.

Jessica is survived by her child, Anthony Gonzalez III, as well as her parents: Elvira Herrera Martinez and Daniel Martinez Cobos. She also leaves behind her sisters: Mary Elena Alonzo Duran, Betty Martinez Cantu, and Elvira Martinez Ovalle, along with her brother, Joe Daniel Martinez.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas  with an in home visitation and gathering at Jessica's' residence afterward. A Graveside Service & Interment will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park at 12:00 noon, Sunday, November 3, 2024.
