Jesse Garcia Jr. was born June 3rd 1944 in Dallas TX to Jesse Garcia Sr. and Amelia Gallegos and passed away on Jan 9th 2024 in Dallas TX at the age of 79.
Jesse was beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who loved him dearly. His witty personality brought a smile to everyone in his presence. He adored his fur babies until the very end. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters local 745 of Dallas. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard as a sharp shooter. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. His work ethic was unmatched until the day he retired as a truck driver from ABF Freight Systems Inc. in 2006. Jesse will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by the love of his life and beloved wife of over 50 years Virginia Garcia. Parents: Jesse Garcia Sr. Amelia Garcia; Son: Jesse Carrillo; Daughters: Adella Garay , Lori Carrillo; Brothers: Florencio Garcia Sr., Howard Garcia Sr.
Survived by: s ons: Jesse Garcia III , Robert Carrillo; s on-in-law: Albert Garay Sr.; d aughters: Angie Carrillo, Mary Ann Garay. Grand Children: Veronica, Homer, Jessica, Virginia, Alfred, Jacob, Jason, Jesse C., Julian, David, Jeremy P., Ilena, Averie, A. J. Ashley, Alissa, Alfredo, Christopher, Jeremy G., Mark, John, Alex, Emilio, Selena, Jesse IV. S isters: Mary Vasquez, Margaret Vasquez; b rothers: Manuel Garcia Sr., Jimmy Garcia Sr. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly. Plus his f ur babies: Oscar, Daisy, Roxy, Roscoe.
Services:
Visitation will be held on January 17, 2024 (Wednesday) from 2-6pm at Jeter & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on January 18, 2024 (Thursday), at 11:30am at Jeter & Son Funeral Home.
Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Calvary Hill Catholic Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
