Obituary

Jericho Marquez, age 54, of Irving, Texas passed away peacefully on November 20, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 8, 1964, to Eleanor (Martinez) and Gonzalo Marquez.
Jericho enjoyed writing his own music and playing musical instruments, which included strumming his guitar and bass, playing the electric keyboard, and playing the drums. He was fond of cars and enjoyed working on them and taking weekend cruises. His two favorite cars were the Porche 911 and 944. He also enjoyed spending his summers on the beach with his family and his faithful companion Chewi.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Margarita Marquez; daughter: Kristen Lorena Marquez; sons: Joshua Jericho Marquez and Jordan Noel Marquez; Sister: Maxine Gonzales; and Granddaughter: Isabella Eleanor Arellano; and numerous cherished family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Jeter and Son Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018, at Bill Harrod Memorial Baptist Church, 3444 Palacios Ave., Dallas, Texas 75212. Graveside service and interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving, Texas.
