In school, she was a bright and popular student who enjoyed playing women's sports including football and track.
As she entered adulthood, she moved to Garland, TX to be closer to her grandparents. She landed a job and was even in the Corvette Club. Jenna then married Jim Barker, Sr., became a mother to Jaymi Ann and James Houston Barker, Jr.. Jenna was so proud of these two. She met the love of her life, Jayme Hernandez, 37 short years ago. As time went on, she began a career doing nails and even opened and owned her own day spa in Mesquite, TX.
