Janie was born on May 27, 1941 in Ferris, Texas. She passed away on March 6, 2023.

Janie is survived by her loving husband Marcos; sons: Marcos Munoz, Jr. and Michael Munoz; daughters: Debbie Hernandez, Dolores Munoz, and Diana Garcia; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren, and many more cherished family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas  from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.. Graveside service and interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas, Texas
