James Joseph Daley, 67, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on May 29, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, to Harry Valentine Daley and Agnes Cecilia McNally Daley.

James was known for his sharp dry humor, outgoing personality, and love of making people laugh. Friends and family will always remember his unmistakable thick New York accent, his deep love of history, and his fascination with alien documentaries and stargazing on quiet nights outdoors. One cherished family memory his wife often shared was James stirring his coffee and playfully placing the warm spoon on his children's arms. A small moment that perfectly captured his teasing spirit and sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Valentine Daley and Agnes Cecilia McNally Daley. James is survived by his beloved wife, Francisca Daley; his children, James Daley, Jose Vega, and Sandra Vega; and his four cherished grandchildren, Jesus, Kennedy, Ava, and Airana. James Joseph Daley
