James Frank Bowerman

James Frank Bowerman, 85, passed away on September 20, 2026, in Conroe, Texas.

James was born on June 24, 1941, in Childress, Texas, to Charles Bowerman and Rubye James.

He proudly served in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge. James later earned his master’s degree in mathematics and built a career in information technology. He was also a private pilot with a lifelong love of airplanes, enjoyed building them, and lived in an aviation community where flying was part of everyday life.

James will be laid to rest with military honors at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Eric Bowerman; daughter-in-law, Ann Bowerman; and extended family.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Monday October 5, 2026, at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
