In Loving Memory of Jadranko Vukovic

Jadranko Vukovic, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was 70 years old.

Born on November 19, 1954, in Sarajevo, Bosnia, Jadranko lived a life full of kindness, wisdom, and laughter. He carried his roots with him wherever he went, enriching the lives of those around him with his deep sense of care and a heart larger than life.

Jadranko was known for his sharp intelligence, meticulous nature, and unforgettable sense of humor. He was the kind of person who would stop in the middle of the street to help a squirrel—a small but perfect example of the compassion that defined him. He was, simply put, the best father ever and the most caring soul many were lucky to know.

His passions were many: music, food, soccer, and above all, his cherished wife. He loved nothing more than taking apart a car just to put it back together again, and spending time with his grandchildren brought him pure joy.

Jadranko is survived by his devoted wife Sanja Vukovic, his son Nened Vukovic, his daughter Jelena Kacavenda, his son in law Milenko Kacavenda and his adored grandchildren, Nika Kalina Kacavenda and Kiprijan Kacavenda.

A funeral service to celebrate Jadranko's life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Holy Three Hierarchs Serbian Orthodox Church, 1810 South Story Rd, Irving, Texas 75060. A burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie, Texas. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
