Hollis ("Pat") Johnson, age 86, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed away on May 21, 2025, from natural causes.

Born in Wellington, Texas, and raised in Dallas, Pat graduated from Southwestern University and completed his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Dallas. He served in the Army, worked as a teacher, and eventually retired from Vought Aircraft after a successful career in Public Relations. During his life, Pat was active in various civic and community organizations, including many years serving on the board of the Cedar Hill Independent School District, and dedicated much of his time to leading and coaching youth athletic groups and teams.

Pat was very involved with the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Hill, where he served in various leadership functions and sang in the church choir. Throughout his life Pat enjoyed singing and spent many of his later years performing with the Silver Serenaders of Texas. He was an avid reader and enjoyed coin and stamp collecting from a young age. Pat was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deanna Johnson. Pat is survived by his two sons and their wives, Randy and Kathryn Johnson, and Doug and Lana Johnson, six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Hill on May 31, 2025 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Silver Serenaders of Texas.
