Hien Nho Truong

Hien Nho Truong, age 71, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, at 1:50 AM in a hospice group home after a courageous battle with stage 4 cancer. Born on April 5, 1955, in Soc Tang Province, Kampuchea Krom, he was the beloved son of Mr. Sui Truong, a dedicated school teacher, and Mrs. Uong Thi Thach, a hardworking rice farmer.

Hien was the second of eight siblings — Le, Xieu, Be, Nam, Len, Hoang, and Thao — and carried with him the lifelong values of family, humility, and perseverance. After immigrating to the United States, he worked in several fields and ultimately retired as an employment recruiter, a role that reflected his kindness, patience, and commitment to helping others succeed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Chantevy Nou, and his cherished son, Tommy Truong.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211.

Hien will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
