Herbert Wayne Linson, age 74 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on October 23rd, 2017. He was born on November 28, 1942 in Clifton, Arizona to Mary (Gallegos) and Herbert Linson.

Herbert was a very generous man with a huge heart. He was in the United States Marine Corp for over 22 years, serving in Vietnam. After retiring, he went on to run a successful catering company. Herbert always loved a challenge - even when it came to cancer. He kept his chin up and fought hard for as long as he could. If you've been in the Linson house recently, you'd know Christmas was Herbert's favorite's time of year. They've kept the tree up since Christmas for him to enjoy for as long as possible.

Herbert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Tina; his daughter Theresa and her partner Karen Dittmar; and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. at Jeter and Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4015 S. Hampton, Dallas, TX 75224. Military Honor and Interment will follow at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
