Born February 14, 1958, in El Campo, Texas . Gloria Lopez' Lord and Savior called her home on January 9, 2024, in Dallas, Texas, as she was surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Paula Saucedo.

Gloria ("Yaya") shared what some would call a beautiful love story and is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Lopez; daughter Yvonne Lopez and fiancée Javier Faz; son Phillip Lopez; three granddaughters (whom she lovingly referred to as her Darlings) Jazmin Montanez, Mia Lopez and Kaylee Lopez, all of who meant the world to her.

Yaya was a loving Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt, Godmother and Friend to many. Yaya immensely enjoyed and valued family time. Yaya shared a strong bond with her siblings Pauline Saucedo (Juan Flores) , Pete Saucedo Jr. (Adriana Saucedo), Angel Saucedo (Cindy Saucedo), Anthony Saucedo and Glenda Saucedo. Yaya's biggest joys were family gatherings and their annual sibling trips.

Visitation will be on January 18, 2024, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 332 Cedar St., Cedar Hill, TX 75104, with Holy Rosary to be held at 3:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on January 19, 2024, at St. Michael the Archangel, 2910 Corn Valley Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Interment following Mass at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060. Pallbearers: Marc Saucedo, Jesse Saucedo, Julian Cervantes, Michael Hernandez, Martin Gonzales, and Alex Aguilera.
