Frances Mendoza

Frances Mendoza, born on January 29, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherished by her family and friends. Frances was preceded in heaven by her devoted husband, Ralph. Along with her parents, siblings and children Gabriel Mendoza, Patricia Salazar, Christine Quijano, Richard Mendoza, Ralph Mendoza, Greg Mendoza, and Mary Ellen Mendoza.

Frances had a passion for planting and yardwork, finding joy and fulfillment in nurturing her yard. She loved playing bingo, often bringing laughter and joy to those around her. Frances also had a soft spot for her favorite TV show, Wheel of Fortune, and proudly supported the Dallas Cowboys.

She is survived by her loving children, Mary Soria (Jesse), Mary Garcia (Ruben), Martha Romero, Debra Mendoza (Rigo), and Pamela Mejia (Edgar). Along with her siblings Jesse, Galdino, Pauline, Virginia, and Ralph. Frances was a dedicated grandmother to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories and bonds that will be treasured for generations.

A devout Catholic, Frances's faith was a guiding force in her life, providing her with strength and comfort. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
