Frances Belle Landers
Frances Belle Landers, 91, was born August 30, 1932, and passed on Saturday evening at 6:10 pm March 2, 2024. She was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J Sullivan, and Cora May Sullivan.
Frances was also proceeded in death by her husband of 59 years, Johnny D Landers and their children, Melba Busby Hughes, Marshall D Landers, Rodney Lee Busby, and John Dwayne Landers.
Frances is survived by their daughters, Charlotte Busby Fluellen, Marjan Landers, Pam Landers Vaughn, (husband Eddie) along with her daughter-in-law, Linda Cammack Landers. She was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and many friends that referred to her as "mom."
Frances was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to countless others.
Frances worked along with her husband Johnny for over 60 years at Cedar Canyon catering club in the Lancaster South Dallas area. She worked full-time well into her 80s. This was proof of her stamina and her great work ethics, which she passed on to her children and grandchildren while they also worked alongside their parents and grandparents.
Frances was a very well-liked person and could get the job done. When she wanted something done, she wanted it done yesterday and not tomorrow.
When Frances wasn't working at Cedar Canyon, you could find her either with the girls on a cruise, going out together to eat, at a casino resort or a game room. This was her favorite pastime.
Frances, you will be missed so very much by your family and friends until we meet again in heaven.
