Floyd Rollin York, known affectionately as Rollin, passed away on December 9, 2024, just one day shy of his 75th birthday. Born on December 10, 1949, in Olney, Texas, he lived 40 years in Duncanville, Texas, where he built a life filled with love and adventure.
Rollin was married to Natalie F. York for 40 wonderful years, having met the love of his life on a blind date. Together, they created a warm and supportive family environment. He is survived by his son Floyd Jeremy York and his spouse Jamie S. York; his son Garrett R. Danford; and his daughter Whitney K. Milner and her spouse Adam Milner. Rollin was proud of his grandchildren Gavin K. Milner, Jax "Rollin" Bailey, Riley S. York, and Landry K. Milner. He was also eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandchild, expected in February 2025.
Rollin was known for his adventurous spirit and mischievous nature, which endeared him to all who knew him. He unconditionally loved his family, often expressing his affection in countless ways. He is also survived by his brother Rickey Joe York and family, as well as a large extended family who cherished him deeply.
Rollin's legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories he created with his loved ones. He will be remembered for his warm heart, adventurous soul, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Rollin will have a private ceremony to spread his ashes. The family asks for donations to https://www.kidneycancer.org
