Esperanza Ortega was born in Comitan Chiapas, Mexico on February 7, 1930, to Gilberto Ortega Guillen and Maria Escandon Ortega and passed away on September 4, 2022, in Dallas, Texas at the age of 92.

Esperanza was a strong, rebellious, entrepreneur, caring and giving person.

She was preceded in death by her son Rudy Ortega. She leaves behind 3 daughters, Irma Aguilar, Nelly Aguilar, and Yolanda Dominguez: and her son Charles Ortega. She had countless grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9 ^th , 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Jeter & Son Funeral Home located at 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 10 ^th , 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel  of Santiago  at Nuestra Señora del Pilar located at 4455 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211. Interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in DeSoto, Texas.
