Ernesto Hernandez, 68, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on May 4, 2025. Born on March 4, 1957, in Dallas to Willie Hernandez and Maria Chavez Martinez, Ernesto lived a life filled with love, laughter, and music.

A devoted son and a caring brother, Ernesto was known for his joyful spirit and warm heart. He had a deep love for music and could often be found playing his electric guitar and keyboard. His passion for classic cars, especially his beloved Corvette, led him to become a proud member of the Royal Classics Car Club. He had a great sense of humor and was always smiling — except when it came to the Dallas Cowboys, whom he did not favor.

Ernesto's Christian faith was a guiding force in his life. He cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews and had a special bond with his dog, Roxy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Martinez, and his brother, Gilbert Martinez.

Ernesto is survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Pauline Ann Sosa, Jeanie Cardoza, Monica Clark, Gilbert Martinez Jr, and Nikki Lara, his sister-in-law Sylvia Martinez, and many dear friends.
