Obituary

Eric Ray Hartsfield

September 14, 1977 - January 25, 2024

Eric Ray Hartsfeild was born September 14, 1977 in Dallas, TX to Walter Hartsfield and Latisha Treadwell. Eric passed away peacefully between his two kids January 25, 2024 at methodist central in Dallas, TX. The same hospital he was born.

Eric was married to Amy Hartsfield who passed away unexpectedly in 2016 in Maypearl, Tx where they bought their dream home. That didn't stop Eric as he worked long hours, day and nights to support his family. Eric was a truck driver for 12 years at old dominion freight but was also a jack of all trades. Eric has and could do it all. Eric loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycles, going on camping trips in his travel trailer, farming and much more. He was a man that could do anything and build anything you asked. Eric was outgoing, honest, and sometimes stubborn as a mule but not one single soul didn't have some kind of love for him. Eric was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Eric was raised in a Christian home and was baptized at Trinity Nazarene as a teenager. Although Eric didn't attend church much as a adult, never did he stray away from God's love, as him and God got very close in the last few years of Eric's life. Eric was truly a walking miracle and even beat cancer twice.

Eric is preceded in death by his wife Amy Hartsfield and his daddy Walter Hartsfield.

He is survived by one daughter, Sierra and her husband Chris Morales. One son, Bailey Hartsfield. His mother Latisha and Step father Arthur Treadwell. His step mother Sandy Hartsfield. His grandparents Eugene and Armelia Jimmerson. One sister Emily and her husband Chris Hayle. One brother Phillip Treadwell. One nephew, Zack Johnson. Two nieces, Isabella (Uncle sissy) and Lexi (squeak) Johnson. One grandson, Giovanni Morales. Last but definitely not least, Eric had a buddy that just so happened he could not live without and that's his dog nacho. They did almost everything together, even rode on the motorcycle with him.

Remember Bible verse, revelation 21:4 "the good news in heaven, we will feel no pain, no sorrow, and there will be no death. All of our grief will fall away and we will only feel God's unending love".

RIP Eric Hartsfield

You will be missed but never forgotten.
