Elvira G. Ybarra was born November 25, 1934, and passed on January 19, 2026, in the comfort of her own home in Dallas, TX.

Elvira is reunited in eternal peace with her daughter, Estellita Ybarra, son, Francisco Joe Ybarra, daughter, Olga Ybarra, grandsons, Emilio Ybarra and Robert Matias Ramirez, and great grandson, JJ Castillo.

Elvira is survived by her children, Mary and Richard Conde, Antonio and Sylvia Ybarra, Amalia Ybarra, Jesse Ybarra, Estella Palomo, Raul Ybarra, Richard and Janet Ybarra, and JoAnn Ybarra.

Elvira was able to complete her education up the 2nd grade as some were not fortunate enough to get a full education. Elvira was married at a young age to Francisco Lopez Ybarra Jr. Throughout their 24 years of marriage, they had 11 children. After their separation, Elvira was a hard worker, often working multiple jobs. When she retired, Elvira enjoyed attending the Marillac Social Center, playing bingo, and dancing. She loved dressing up for every special occasion and holiday, especially Cinco de Mayo. Elvira eventually began to stay home to exercise, garden, and work on puzzle books. To know her was to love her. Elvira touched countless lives through her 91 years of life, and she will be forever missed.

Visitation at Jeter & Son Chapel, 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas on Wednesday February 4, 2026 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m..

A mass of Christian burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes, 5605 Bernal Dr, Dallas on Thursday February 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m..

Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Park in Irving.
