Elizabeth Zavala

December 26, 1957 - August 25, 2024

Elizabeth  A. Zavala of Dallas, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 25,2024, surrounded by numerous loved ones.

Elizabeth, known to many as Lisa, to others, by BooBoo and Chili Beth.; was born December 26, 1957, in Dallas, TX to Manuel and Irene Ayala. On November 26, 2016, she married Joe Zavala in Dallas, TX. She loved listening to the Gap Band, spending time with family, watching the Cowboys games and babysitting her grand-dogs.

Elizabeth A. Zavala is survived by her children: Joe H. Zavala Jr., Angel R. Zavala, Erica O'Mata and Eric Medellin. Daughter-in-laws: Christy Zavala and Elizabeth Medellin. Son-in-law: Zack O'Mata. Her grandchildren: Isaiah N.  Zavala, Veronica A.  Juarez, Angel R. Zavala II, Obadiah Medellin, Jasper, Jasmine and Lulu O'Mata. Her siblings: Manuel Ayala Jr., Martha Martinez, Michael Ayala and Joann Serrato. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Manuel and Irene Ayala and her husband, Joe Zavala.

Joe Zavala Jr, Angel Ray Zavala, Paul Serrato III, Eric Medellin, Zack O'Mata, Isaiah Zavala, Angel Ray Zavala II.

Services :

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 3pm - 7pm at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas,  Texas

A Rosary will be held at 5:30pm, during the visitation hours.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10 am.

Graveside service will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at 11:30 am.  Make sure to arrive by 11:15 am
