Celebration of Life for Delores Moore

Delores June Moore was born January 13, 1924 in St. Louis, Mo. to the parents

of Allie Mae Huggins and Edward H. Moore.  She passed away January 11, 2023

in her daughter's home in Cedar Hill.  She tried to make it to ninety-nine years,

only missed it by two days.

Delores, known as DJ, spent her childhood in Dallas and Cedar Hill.  She attended

school in Cedar Hill where she met and married Grady Williams.  Together they had

three daughters,  Brenda Williams Phelps,  Alta Williams Graves, and Rose Williams

Womack.

DJ is preceded in death by parents, Allie Mae and Edward Moore, daughter Brenda

Phelps, granddaughter Susan Bonnette, siblings Daniel Currie, Edward Currie, Jessie

Horton, and Edwina Scott. Last but not least, her puppy Spanky.

Survived by daughters, Alta Graves, and Rose Womack and husband Leo, and a several grandchildren and

great grandchildren.   A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
