Dawna Renea Derrick passed away in Dallas on July 27, 2022. Dawna was born in Kansas in January of 1960. She grew up in Dallas and graduated with top honors from Bryan Adams High School and attended Richland College with top honors.

Dawna was an entrepreneur who owned and operated Reventé which was noted as one of the top fashion consignment shops in Dallas. Earlier in her career she was a payroll manager at Cowles & Thompson Law Firm. She had a love for business and fashion and an even bigger love for animals especially her cherished dogs.

Dawna was a beloved daughter, niece, cousin, neighbor and friend and is missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her ashes were put to rest next to her mother Merna Derrick at Oak Park Cemetery in Claremont, California near her surviving family.
