David "Dave" Paul Long was born in Dallas on February 25, 1967, to Walter "Dave"
Long and Regina "Gene" Long. He passed away peacefully in late March.
Dave was a graduate of Bishop Dunne High School and attended the University of
Texas at Arlington.  He provided care for his mother and father as they aged.  He
loved music, computers, technology, the gym, and YouTube. He researched
extensively online for himself and to help others. Dave was known for being
helpful and friendly to his neighbors and anyone he encountered.

Dave is preceded in death by his mother Gene Long and father Dave Long.

He is survived by his sisters Sue Long (wife Sue Cuculic), Pam Long, and Patty Priddy
(husband Paul Priddy).  He is also survived by his nieces and nephew Allie Kainz,
Ryan Priddy, Jenni Waldon, and Christi Waldon, his uncle Mike Long (wife Marie),
cousin Jennie Long, cousin Kathy McQuade, as well as other extended family.

A private family service and burial at Holy Redeemer Cemetery will be held at a
later date.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Alzheimer's Association.
