Daniel Ortega Torbellin

July 13, 1939 - April 15, 2025.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Torbellin, Sr., 85, of Dallas, Tx who was called to his eternal rest in the early morning of Tuesday April 15, 2025.  His memorial service will be held at Jeter & Son Chapel on Friday April 25th, 2025, with visitation between 2pm-6pm and a rosary held at 4:30pm.

A life so beautifully lived will remain in the hearts of his wife Rosario Torbellin; his daughters Priscilla Mendoza, Denise Torbellin, and his son Daniel Torbellin,Jr. proceeded him in death; his grandchildren Javier Jr, Kimberly, Stephanie, Jessica, Kristy, Melissa, Ignacio Allen, Angel, & Daniel III ; as well as 17 great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed his trips to Winstar, being outdoors listening to his favorite music, and anytime spent with his family. He always wore a bright and energetic personality, his quirky sense of humor, and words of wisdom when needed. In his words "expect the unexpected & live life to the fullest". He leaves a legacy of love and an abundance of memories that will forever be cherished .
