Chin Hong
Chin Hong, age 81, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in Richardson, Texas. She was born on March 3, 1944, in Cambodia to Thek Peak and Koy Hong.
Chin Hong was a devoted homemaker whose life was centered on caring for her family. Her love and dedication knew no limits—she continued to care for her loved ones even during times of illness. Her strength, selflessness, and quiet resilience defined who she was and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She endured unimaginable loss during the Cambodian regime, having lost her beloved husband and four children—three sons and one daughter. She lived as a widow for nearly 50 years, carrying her grief with dignity and unwavering perseverance. Chin Hong is the middle child out of 5, but all her siblings has passed before her.
Chin Hong is survived by her loving family, including daughter Louth, son Nhanh; son in law and daughter in law; three granddaughters and three grandsons; four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the family she held together with love and sacrifice.
