Charlotte Leigh Taylor

Charlotte Leigh Taylor was born in Dallas, Texas on March 11, 1948 to Lloyd Edwin (Eddie) and Eloise Mercedes Lila Pearl Viles Goodloe (Mercedes). She passed away on September 12, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. She attended W. W. Samuel High School and graduated in 1966.

She was married to Kenneth Eugene Taylor on March 22, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. Charlotte worked many jobs during her life but her best loved job was as a mother. She and Kenneth had four children: Eric Eugene, Christine Denise, Daniel Anthony, and Robert Andrew. She loved singing in the church choir, baking homemade treats for others, shopping for antiques with Kenneth, spending time with her family, and Christmas. She loved the sights and sounds of a well decorated Christmas tree and loved to collect Hallmark Christmas ornaments to adorn their Christmas tree.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Mercedes Goodloe and her grandson William Nicholas. Charlotte is survived by her husband Kenneth Eugene Taylor; her son Eric and wife Marissa along with their children Travis and Emma; her daughter Denise Snow along with her children Matthew Taylor and wife Veronica and son Jacob Snow; her son Daniel and wife Linda and their daughter Katie; and son Robert and wife Norma and their children Jasmin and Madeyln.

A gathering will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 8:30 am. Interment will follow at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery for a service at 9:30 am.
