Obituary

Carol Ann DeLoach Sheets
November 20, 1941 – September 8, 2025

Carol Ann DeLoach Sheets was born on November 20, 1941, in Waco, Texas, to Anthony Allen DeLoach and Mildred Gloer DeLoach. She passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, in Duncanville, Texas.

Carol was a proud graduate of LeVega High School in Bellmead, Texas. She worked as an office manager for more than 25 years, where her attention to detail and strong work ethic earned the respect of all who knew her.

Carol loved sewing and had a special talent for finding treasures at garage sales and thrift stores—she could always spot a good deal. A devoted member of First Baptist Church of Dallas, she lived out her faith with quiet grace and kindness.

She was also known for her sense of humor and her many endearing quirks: a Dallas Cowboys fanatic, a thrift store connoisseur, and someone who simply refused to pay full retail price. Above all, she was a sweet, loving woman who cherished her family deeply and had an insatiable sweet tooth that her loved ones will fondly remember.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Cleve Sheets; her parents, Allen and Mildred DeLoach; her sister, Margaret Schwettmann; her daughter-in-law, Almeda (Mimi) Sheets; her son-in-law, James M. Partin; and her grandson, Michael Partin.

She is survived by her brothers Glenn DeLoach and wife Kay, Harol DeLoach and wife Sheri, and brother-in-law Marvin Schwettmann; her son William (Bill) Sheets and grandson William; and her daughter Donna Sheets Partin and granddaughter Sara. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Jeff DeLoach (Carrie), Lisa Parker (Kam), Brian Schwettmann, Sandy Seeley, Lynn Schwettmann, Dwain DeLoach (Lisa), and Darren DeLoach; as well as more than fifteen grandnieces and grandnephews—and counting.

Carol will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, her faith, and her joyful appreciation for life's simple blessings.
