Carlos Charles Moreno

August 19, 1937 - May 1, 2023

Carlos was born on August 19, 1937, to parents Antonio Moreno and Frances Antillion, in Dallas, Texas.  After graduating from high school, Carlos answered the call to serve his county and enlisted into the U.S. Air Force.  Following Basic Training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, he was shipped off to Technical Training at Chanute AFB, Illinois, to train to become a jet engine propulsion mechanic on the new B-52 bomber.  Carlos served between the Korean War and Vietnam War. Following his Honorable Discharge from the Air Force, he returned to Dallas, Texas and worked as a general laborer.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents Antonio Moreno and Frances Antillion.

Carlos is survived by his children Carlos R. Moreno, Rhonda Moreno, Jeff Moreno and grandchildren.

Brothers David A. Moreno, Antonio Moreno , nieces and nephews.

Services :

Visitation will be at Jeter & Son Funeral home in Dallas, Texas on May 17, 2023, from 11am-1pm.

The graveside service will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery on May 17, 2023 at 1:15pm.  Please arrive at the funeral home no later than 12:45PM if you plan on attending the cemetery service.
