Age 60, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2025. Carin was born to Mary Helen Rosales and Oscar Rodriguez on December 30, 1964, in Dallas.
Carin was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a man who loved deeply and lived with an open heart. Throughout his life, Carin carried a sense of resilience and compassion, and his love for his family was a cornerstone of his spirit.
Carin leaves behind his beloved children: Oscar Rodriguez, Diana Rodriguez Hernandez, and Joel Rodriguez. He also leaves a legacy through his grandchildren: Savannah Rodriguez (deceased, 2023), Karma Rodriguez, Joaquin Rodriguez, and Alexa Rodriguez.
Carin was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Helen Rosales and Oscar Rodriguez, and his beloved branddaughter, Savannah. He is survived by his siblings: Dany Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Marisela Gomez, Johnny Villareal, and Larry Ramirez, and his stepfather, Joaquin Gomez.
He will always be remembered for his deep love for his ex-wife, Deborah Diaz, with whom he shared a connection until his final days.
A visitation and gathering will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 4:30 PM.
As we gather to celebrate Carin's life, let us reflect on the profound love he had for each of us, a love that reminds us to forgive as God forgives us. Let us remember the importance of loving one another, not for who we are, but for who we are called to be as children of God. No matter the circumstances or misunderstandings, it is through forgiveness that we find peace and healing.
Carin's legacy lives on not just in his children and grandchildren, but in the love he spread and the relationships he built. His life reminds us that no matter what challenges we face or differences we may have, we all answer to God in the end. In His grace, we are called to love one another, just as He loves us. May we all continue to carry that love forward in our lives.
